Introduction to Biofuels is a two day course that will look into the fundamental aspects of the biofuels industry. Discussions include the basics of how biofuels are derived and used, how the markets work including current and upcoming activities, and factors driving the industry. Developments of biofuels markets will be assessed, as well as trade, investments, and commercial viability and usage of biofuels. Moreover, current and future challenges faced by the biofuel producers, oil and additive industries, and the transportation sector will also be addressed. Through a combination of lectures, interactive discussions and practical examples, this course will refresh and update participants who are new to the industry or simply want knowledge on the latest developments in biofuels markets.
