Ringkasan program

This programme is designed to create opportunities for students to prepare for careers in which law and management overlap and an understanding of both fields is desired. It is to find out more about managing organisations, and the external environment in which they operate. It helps to discover how organisations respond to change and plan strategically for the future and gain an insight into the relationship between various aspects of the legal system and the business environment. It is designed for those who wish to pursue a career in law or management related areas or run a legal practice; seeking employment either in the public or private sector, where a demonstrated ability for logical reasoning is required. Graduates can find career opportunities in a small independent or medium-sized company to one of the larger blue chip companies, which tend to offer more structured training, experience and promotion opportunities. Alternatively, they could become a self-employed consultant which can bring opportunities and challenges too.

Modul program

The modules in year 1 are 28 Elements of Law of Contract, 161 Common Law Reasoning and Institution, 107 Introduction to Business and Management, 25 Principles of Accounting; one form: 101 Criminal Law, 102 Public Law; year 2: 204 Commercial Law, 402 Company Law, 141 Principles of Marketing (21 or 02), 75 Human Resource Management, 79 Elements of Social and Applied Psychology.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have obtained a recognised first degree completed in a minimum of three years on a full-time basis. For Access Route, they should have obtained 4 'O' Levels (with English and Maths) or equivalent and some work experience. They should have score of 580 (or 237 on the computer base) in TOEFL plus TWE with a score of 4.5 (or a writing rating of 4.5). Alternatively an internet based TOEFL (iBt) score of 92, at least 22 in both reading and writing skills sub-tests and at least 20 in both speaking and listening skills sub-tests. They should have an overall score of at least 6 with a minimum of 5.5 in each of the four sub-tests of IELTS.
