Ringkasan program

This course offers students an exciting platform to explore and experiment with architectural design. The course is fully integrated with 100 per cent in-course assessment and offers learning opportunities in architectural design and technology within the regional and global context. Students are exposed to design primers and year-long projects. They learn and work in design studios and participate in out-of-classroom activities locally and overseas. Topics taught range from theoretical subjects to technological and environmental issues, enabling students to design with a creative mind while balancing with the practical aspects of architecture. 2-D/3-D computer software modules equip students with the latest design communication skills and tools. A 12-week internship programme trains students to be work-ready upon graduation. Graduates can be employed in the following: Architectural consulting firms; Government agencies like the Building and Construction Authority, Housing and Development Board, Urban Redevelopment Authority, and others; Organisations related to the building industry; Large firms in other fields with their own in-house architectural division; Companies providing creative services such as computer graphics and animation design. They also have direct entry into the second or third year of degree courses in architecture in overseas universities, and direct entry into second year architecture course in National university of Singapore.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants from India should have obtained Secondary School Certificate (Year 10) or Senior School Certificate (Year 12). Those from other countries should have country specific requirements equivalent to New Zealand. They must fulfill the following English language requirements: IELTS score of 5.5 or the equivalent level of English.
