Ringkasan program
This course offers students the opportunity to study all aspects of audio engineering. It is designed to train future professionals for the audio and media industries. Graduates of the Diploma in Audio Engineering are able to operate a wide range of professional industry standard equipment, studio effects processors, operate analogue and digital consoles and hard disc recording systems. They will also learn mixdown techniques, studio procedures, production techniques, basic studio acoustics and business. Graduates that have gained this qualification have recorded and mixed several music productions, completed a comprehensive post production project, programmed MIDI arrangements and worked extensively with SSL AWS900 recording consoles, ProTools and other digital editing systems. Successful completion of the diploma level gives graduates the possibility to continue their studies towards a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Audio Production. They can also find career options as Entertainment manager, Studio manager, Mastering engineer, Broadcast engineer, Audio post-production, Recording executive, Professional industry trainer, Music producer, Music industry consultant; Consultancy, education and careers; Digital media entrepreneur, and much more.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must be over 17 years of age and have completed at least two GCE O-level or N-level subjects including English (D7 and above) or ITE Certificate or completion of SAE Certificate. In addition, they must fulfill the following English language requirements: IELTS overall band score of 6.0 or above; or TOEFL overall grade of 550 or above (paper-based); or TOEFEL overall grade of 213 or above (computer-based); or TOEFL overall grade of 79 or above (internet-based); or a high school transcript showing proof of satisfactory English to year 10 or higher. SAE Institute recognizes prior learning and work experiences for advanced course standing and also has entry options for students who do not meet the above entry requirements.
