This is a specially designed course, offering the dual disciplines of finance and infocomm technology (IT) that meets the increasing needs of today’s marketplace. The finance option offers the specialisation to process financial transaction and deal flow of various financial markets products. Modules in the Finance Option will equip students with knowledge of financial market products, deals processing, settlement flows and administration of investment funds. Graduates will have the requisite technical skills to analyse financial data. Besides a strong foundation in accounting and finance, the DFI graduate will be able to design, develop, implement and manage business process workflows, employing sound system design methodologies, IT security and auditing practices to reduce risk exposure of systems. Graduates can expect exciting employment opportunities as Securities Settlements Officer, Reconciliation and Controls Associate, Information Technology Market Services Officer, Associate - Business Continuity Management, CRM-Applications Officer, Client Data Officer, etc. There are opportunities for further studies with advanced standing from reputable universities. Many universities grant generous advanced standing to SP graduates and admit them directly into the second year of a degree programme. In addition, the broad-based and multidisciplinary DFI curriculum allows graduates to pursue a finance or an IT degree in universities. Advantages of DFI course are the real-life and industry-based Final Year Project (FYP) and Industrial Training Program (ITP).

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students from Hong Kong (SAR) need to have completed Hong Kong Certificate of Education (HKCEE) and / or Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE). Indian students must have completed Secondary School Certificate (Year 10) or Senior School Certificate (Year 12). Indonesian students need to have done SMA Ujian Akhir Nasional (UAN) / STTB SMA or SMA, SMU Ebtanas. Malaysian students must possess Unified Examination Certificate and Unified Examination Certificate - Vocational. Students from Myanmar should have Basic Education High School (BEHS). People's Republic of China students must fulfill Gaokao or National College Entrance Examination (NCEE). Thailand students should have completed Maw 6. Vietnam students need to have undertaken Year 12 High School Graduation Certificate of National Exam and students from other countries must have qualification in GCSE/IGCSE/GCE (non Singapore-Cambridge) and/ or other qualifications (will be assessed based on its equivalence to the GCE 'O' level examinations). Those who hold International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma qualification are required to satisfy the requirements which are based on the IB Diploma (Middle Years Programme is not considered): For English, a grade 4 (first Lang) or 5 (second Lang) is required except for Creative Writing for Television and New Media and Media and Communication courses where a grade 5 (first Lang) or 6 (second Lang) is required; Maths and Relevant Subject requires a minimum grade of 5. The Overall Aggregate score should be at least 22 (based on 5 subjects including English, Maths and Relevant Subject).
