This program will provide students with a comprehensive broad-based business education, focusing on fund management and administration within the financial services industry. The course aims to provide students with a good broad-based business education through carefully selected core business module, and an understanding of business process development and operations. It also provides an adequate level of specialization (in fund management and administration) through careful selection and phasing of specialized modules within the course; and enable total student development through value-added education, training and other capabilities development, including developing an entrepreneurial mindset. The program trains and develops students in a practice-oriented learning environment, such as unique Teaching Enterprise Project (“TEP”), industrial placement programme and case study based learning. It also helps students to develop essential lifelong skills, such as thinking, problem solving and analytical abilities with a strong emphasis on communication, interpersonal and Info-Comm Technology skills. Students are prepared with a regional and global mindset who can contribute positively in a competitive borderless business world. The program also prepares graduates for executive positions in fund and investment services that cover the front, middle and back office operations. They can look forward to promising career prospects with the big local banks, international financial institutions, global fund houses, regional asset management firms, boutique hedge funds, fund administrators and custodian companies.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students from Malaysia should should have the following SPM/UEC Examination at not more than two sittings: A+ to C / 1 to 6 in Bahasa Inggeris, A+ to C / 1 to 6 in elementary, additional or advanced in Mathematics, and A+ to C / 1 to 6 in any three other subjects. To be eligible for selection, students must also have sat for at least one of the following subjects: Geography; History; Principles of Accounts; Commerce/Commercial Studies; Literature in English/Chinese/Malay/Tamil Combined Humanities. Chinese students need to have completed National College Entrance Examination Certificate qualifications with at least five points above Tier 2 score line. Indian, Indonesian and Vietnamese students should have Standard 12 qualifications. Students from Myanmar should have BEHS Certificate. Other international students need to have International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) or national examination at Standard 12.
