Ringkasan program

This programme offers training in the areas of Chemistry, Perfumery and Cosmetic Science. The unique curriculum offered in the diploma enables the DPCS graduate to be one of the pioneer batches of students trained in the areas of Cosmetic Science and Perfumery in Singapore. The DPCS graduate is also well prepared to clinch jobs in industries that are both lucrative and have proven to weather many recession storms. On the other hand, the academic rigour of the course will also enable students to further their studies in local or overseas universities if they so desire. Areas of applications such as sensory training for perfumery, fragrance creation, formulations of cosmetic products, cosmetic science as well as the marketing and business aspects in these disciplines will be some topics covered in the curriculum. Graduates may explore careers in business and marketing within the context of the chemical industry. They may also choose to study Chemistry or related subjects in local universities or pursue a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Perfumery or Cosmetic Science overseas.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants from India should have obtained Secondary School Certificate (Year 10) or Senior School Certificate (Year 12). Students from other countries should have country specific requirements equivalent to New Zealand. They should also have sufficient level of Proficiency in the English Language with TOEFL score of 550 [paper-based], 213 [computer-based] or 79 [internet-based], or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) overall minimum score of 6.0.
