This programme will develop students to be IT professionals who are able to blend customer and project management skills seamlessly. They will also get a strong grounding in technology, to enhance the performance of IT in businesses. Knowledge of IT Service Management, a hallmark of the programme, will provide students with insights on how IT services can be best delivered to businesses based on well-established global practices and processes. Through hands-on exposure in the IT Service Management Practice Laboratory, which is equipped with industry-leading BMC Remedy software, students will directly experience what quality service management within the IT industry is about. The programme enables students to acquire knowledge in implementing, operating and managing IT effectively, so they can provide quality IT services to businesses. Students will not only obtain a strong foundation in IT technologies but will also learn how to model, design, operate and implement IT processes and services through applying a globally recognised body of knowledge, such as the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). They will learn vital project management techniques and client or customer management skills as well. Exciting job opportunities and career growth await graduates in the field of IT services. These roles range from planning and designing to implementing and the continual improvement of IT services, either within a company or IT service provider. Graduates can become project executives, service desk professionals, IT delivery and service engineers, as well as business and client managers. Graduates will also possess the necessary skills and knowledge to take up positions such as software engineers, web developers and IT or e-business consultants in the IT industry.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

GEC 'O' level holders students to be eligible for admission for the course, must obtain 26 points or better for the net ELR2B2 aggregate score (i.e. English language, two relevant subjects and best two other subjects, including CCA bonus points). They should also meet the entry requirements of English language with the grade 1-7, mathematics (elementary or additional) with grade 1-6 and one of the subjects with grade 1-6 in science stream, design and technology, food and nutrition, engineering, electronics or computer science stream. Students who are ITE holders should have completed NITEC qualification or Higher NITEC qualification with a GPA greater than or equal to 3.5 or 2.0 respectively. In addition to this all international students should have secured minimum IELTS score of 6.0 for all bands (listening, writing, reading and speaking) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 650 (Paper- based), 173 (Computer-based) or 79 (internet-based).
