This programme has been designed to nurture both the aspiring tech savvy musician and the musicianship-aware audio technologist. Those pursuing this programme will create, produce, master and re-master musical arts projects in an artistic environment equipped with cutting-edge technology. The graduates will possess versatility and be able to easily turn their hand to many tasks, making them highly marketable. Students will create; produce and master/re-master musical arts projects via an immerse artistic environment, built with cutting-edge technology that yet captures wisdom entrenched in traditional resources. The experience is enhanced through the ‘live’ capability at The Republic Cultural Centre. This will facilitate performance and practical learning in a real-world environment that showcases the talents of their sonic artists. DSA graduates will be equipped to take on roles ranging from film scoring, jingle composition, music synthesis, audio environment design for any artistic production genres, careers in tours, music or talent business entrepreneurs. They can also choose to be future educators and alchemists in digital music and technology.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

GEC 'O' level holders students to be eligible for admission for the course, must obtain 26 points or better for the net ELR2B2 aggregate score (i.e. English language, two relevant subjects and best two other subjects, including CCA bonus points). They should also meet the entry requirements of English language with the grade 1-7, mathematics (elementary or additional) with grade 1-6 and one of the subjects with grade 1-6 in science stream, design and technology, food and nutrition, engineering, electronics or computer science stream. Students who are ITE holders should have completed NITEC qualification or Higher NITEC qualification with a GPA greater than or equal to 3.5 or 2.0 respectively. In addition to this all international students should have secured minimum IELTS score of 6.0 for all bands (listening, writing, reading and speaking) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 650 (Paper- based), 173 (Computer-based) or 79 (internet-based).
