This programme will provide students with opportunities to develop a set of core and specific skills to be active contributors in this growing industry. DSLM will provide them with specialised knowledge and skills in developing both local and international sports initiatives and leisure programs. Graduates can seek careers in many areas within sports and leisure enterprises. These include: Singapore sports council; national sports associations; sports marketing; sports athlete and events representation and agencies; events management companies; sports public relations; sports retails shops (e.g. nutrition stores, apparel stores); fitness equipment and supplies companies; sports and leisure promotion service providers; private sports coaching schools; sports service providers (outsourced partners with SSC and schools), resorts, marinas, golf and country clubs, social clubs, fitness and gyms, health and wellness centers, sports clubs in organisations (including those whose focus is in workplace health promotion), specialists in the mice industry (planning and promotions, marketing and organisers), cruise operations, grassroots organisations, community clubs and so on.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

GEC 'O' level holders students to be eligible for admission for the course, must obtain 26 points or better for the net ELR2B2 aggregate score (i.e. English language, two relevant subjects and best two other subjects, including CCA bonus points). They should also meet the entry requirements of English language with the grade 1-7, mathematics (elementary or additional) with grade 1-6 and one of the subjects with grade 1-6 in science stream, design and technology, food and nutrition, engineering, electronics or computer science stream. Students who are ITE holders should have completed NITEC qualification or Higher NITEC qualification with a GPA greater than or equal to 3.5 or 2.0 respectively. In addition to this all international students should have secured minimum IELTS score of 6.0 for all bands (listening, writing, reading and speaking) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 650 (Paper- based), 173 (Computer-based) or 79 (internet-based).
