Ringkasan program

This programme offers an immersive programme of study in arts management, theatre and production management and production design. It aims to produce leaders across the spectrum of the growing arts and theatre management industry as well as in the exciting field of production design. The programme is delivered through an increasingly challenging series of coursework, production assignments and work placements which ensure students are well-schooled in both the theoretical and practical aspects of their study. It prepares graduates to fill a wide range of arts professional roles in arts administration, stage and production management, arts facilities management, lighting, scenic and costume design for stage, television and film, front-of-house management and technical crewing.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

GEC 'O' level holders students to be eligible for admission for the course, must obtain 26 points or better for the net ELR2B2 aggregate score (i.e. English language, two relevant subjects and best two other subjects, including CCA bonus points). They should also meet the entry requirements of English language with the grade 1-7, mathematics (elementary or additional) with grade 1-6 and one of the subjects with grade 1-6 in science stream, design and technology, food and nutrition, engineering, electronics or computer science stream. Students who are ITE holders should have completed NITEC qualification or Higher NITEC qualification with a GPA greater than or equal to 3.5 or 2.0 respectively. Applicants should possess strong interest in the arts, either performing or visual arts. A background in humanities-related subjects and experience in arts-related activities such as music, dance, drama, drawing, creative writing, etc is preferred. A good command of English, an analytical mindset, a good aesthetic sense, leadership skills and positive service attitude are advantageous for students who wish to embark on this course. In addition to this all international students should have secured minimum IELTS score of 6.0 for all bands (listening, writing, reading and speaking) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 650 (Paper- based), 173 (Computer-based) or 79 (internet-based).
