Ringkasan program
This course is a purely performance-based programme. The core of this vocational training curriculum is actor-training with four fundamental components of acting, body and movement, voice and speech and singing, progressively structured within the total of six semesters. Students may choose to specialise in either mandarin drama or English drama acting. In addition to these acting-related modules, they will undertake a core module series of production that spans the areas of stage and production management, lighting, performance design, sound design as well as theatre makeup and hairstyling and theatre wigs. Graduates can find job opportunities as actor, performer, player; creative director; drama educator; event and project organiser; performance designer of lighting and sound, set and costume; scripter and playwright; social worker specialising in applied drama; stage and production manager.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants are required to pass in the admission test/audition. The general requirement is Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level with at least four grade-C6 or better grade subjects, excluding English language, or International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or Certificate, or relevant Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Nitec qualifications with GPA 2.5 and above may apply. Apart from the above general requirements International applicants from India should have obtained Secondary School Certificate (Year 10), including a passing grade of 50 and above for English from The Central Board of Secondary Education Examinations (CBSE). Applicants from other countries should have country specific requirements equivalent to Singapore. Also they should demonstrate their English language proficiency with Grade C6 or better in the Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level English Language, or TOEFL score of 400 or better, or IELTS Band 4 or higher, or a pass in NAFA English Admission Test, or qualifications equivalent to any of the above.
