This course aims to help students function more effectively in English, both academically and professionally. It is offered only to students with the aims of helping them write expository namely argumentative essays through good organization and clarity of expression, develop an awareness of grammar rules, comprehend music-related expository texts through reading and vocabulary building strategies, summarize and synthesize reading texts for writing, practice critical review and critique of issues, and build confidence in expressing ideas to an audience.
