Ringkasan program
This course aims to provide trainees with an understanding of early childhood education and child development. It teaches the trainees the necessary skills and knowledge in assisting the teacher in the development, instruction and management of children (18 months to 6 years) in a childcare centre and also working with families. It provide a high quality education that is intellectually rigorous, up-to-date, and relevant to the needs of existing and future employees of the early childhood industry. This course combines theory and practice and vocational placement.

The modules are Principles of Development; Foundational Studies for the Developing Professional: Principles of Development, Beginning Learning Experiences; Content Areas in Early Childhood Curriculum: Creative Approaches to the Teaching of : Music and Movement, Art and Craft; the Early Childhood Environment: Safety, Health and Nutrition, Working with Parents, Professional Development; and Vocational Placement: Vocational Placement 1.
