Ringkasan program

The programme is designed to help local service companies and communities develop their business and methods of cooperation. It aims to deepen management methods, behaviors and skills (technical, economic, and managerial) necessary for a better understanding of the public and private sectors, as well as change management - all of which are needed to make this new context a source of growth. The programme is intended for people who maintain the following roles (minimum 10 years experience): secretary-general of local communities, directors of intercommunity cooperation structures, directors of local community services (urbanism, social functions, technical services, communications, etc), architects, executive directors of urban service companies, executive directors of construction and public works companies. The programme pursues three goals: help companies that play a part in city and community policy develop their mutual relations; outline the new issues facing regional functions (entrepreneurial skills, perspective on organization and private partners, building and leading corporate projects, managing change); combine the program’s lessons through a strategic project that responds to a real problem. It is organized into three phases: the public/private context (principles of public management, urbanism and planning); public and private management tools and methods (legal environment, organizational analysis, cost and performance analysis, human resources management, etc); managing change in public-private partnerships (Implementing new organizations, regional marketing, the negotiating director, etc).

Eligible students receiving at least 10 years of professional experience (public and parastatal enterprises to government services etc.) can apply for this programme.
