Ringkasan program
This programme aims to produce graduates who will become effective career advocates of green energy and environmental sustainability. It is founded on an interdisciplinary framework that encourages exploration of the social, aesthetic, ethical, scientific, and technical aspects of environmental science, as well as the use of management systems and policies for regulation and control. Students undertake an Asian field trip in ‘Service Learning’ as part of the requirement for their master’s project. Also the aim of the programme is to impart knowledge, skills and experience in various aspects of environmental science and practice so that there is a qualified understanding of the environment. The master programme endeavours to produce graduates who can be more effective advocates for the use of green energy. It gives students an interdisciplinary framework that encourages exploration of the social, aesthetic, ethical, scientific, and technical aspects of environmental science. It focus on understanding environmental issues qualitatively and the use of management systems and policies to regulate and control them; teaching pedagogy builds on the development of techniques and management systems for assessment and frameworks for sustainability; project will lead to the formulation and implementation of a balanced environmental management system for a real environmental issue.
Modul program
The modules include Green Engineering and Renewable Energy, Ecosystem Management, Environmental Audit and Management, Environmental Ethics, Environmental Law, Environmental Impact Assessment, Solid Waste Management, Air and Noise Pollution Control, Water Resources and Treatment, Environmental Monitoring, Environmental Science Project.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants should be 21 years and above with a high level of motivation. They should have an undergraduate degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution with at least two years of work experience. Also they are expected to have good communication skills both in written and spoken mode.
