Ringkasan program
This course provides the students with a working knowledge of the principles, properties, uses and limitations of computers. The computing course gives 'A' Level students comprehensive exposure to the major areas of computer science: systems programming, hardware, data structures and algorithms, database and theory. Every effort is made to provide each student with an up-to-date hardware and software environment. The emphasis is not on learning many programming languages, but rather it is on giving students a conceptual framework to function in this rapidly developing field. Computing students have the opportunity to participate in both international and national competitions, such as the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI), National Software Competition and various competitions organised by local institutions such as Nanyang Technological University and National University of Singapore.
