This programme is intended for those seeking a career in business administration. It arms prospective students with the knowledge and disciplines required for the effective running of the business. The programme also satisfies the growing demand for a course offering in-depth study and a high degree of specialisation. It aims to train and prepare students with a blend of educational knowledge and practical experience. This programme is designed for students to achieve the knowledge and skills for successful performance in a business environment that is global in scope. It will provide students with the intellectual ability to organize work, make and communicate sound decisions, react successfully to unanticipated events, be prepared to interact with persons from other cultures and to manage in circumstances where business practices and social conventions are different in every country. At the end of the programme, students will be able to: identify and analyze material factors that are involved in business problems; determine and apply relevant frameworks from accounting, finance, decision sciences, marketing, and management to address business problems; determine and apply appropriate problem-solving techniques to business problems; integrate knowledge across business disciplines to formulate decisions.

Modul program

The modules include W2001 Principles of Business Law, W2002 Quantitative Methods, W2003 Information Technology Management, W2004 Managerial Economics, W2005 Business Finance, W2006 Consumer Behavior, W2008 Marketing Research, elective modules: W2007 Human Resource Management, B2019 Marketing Communication Strategy.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students to be considered for Normal entry into the programme: they must have obtained a pass in International Diploma in Business Administration (IDBA) or, Polytechnic holders in business; Diploma in a cognate subject. Other qualifications or experience which demonstrates that a candidate possesses appropriate knowledge and skills at Diploma level may be acceptable (may require taking bridging modules). For Matured Entry: Students must have attained 21 years and above, three years of relevant working experience (documentary proof required), completed Secondary education in English or proof of English Proficiency and may require to take bridging modules. They must fulfill the following English language requirements: IELTS - minimum score of 6.0 or TOEFL - Paper-based test of a minimum 550 or Informatics Proficiency in English Program.
