In this programme, students are required to satisfy the following requirements in addition to pursuing independent research: nine AUs, with an average grade of B- or CGPA of 3.0. Exemption from the coursework courses may be granted by the Chair of the School if the student is deemed to have already done sufficient coursework in the relevant area in a master's degree program at a recognized university. At the end of the programme, the student is required to write and submit a thesis, which will be examined by internal and external examiners. This programme is mainly focused on Construction Technology and Management major.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must have bachelor's degree with minimum 2nd class honours upper and the ability to pursue research in the candidate's proposed field of advanced study. A GMAT or GRE score is required for the admission. For applicants whose native language is not English, a good TOEFL or IELTS score is required. Applicants from India may use the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score of at least 90 per cent in place of GRE.

School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) is organized into three divisions, the Division of Infrastructure Systems and Maritime Studies, Division of Environmental and Water Resources Engineering and the Division of Structures and Mechanics. The school has one of the best equipped and comprehensive laboratories and workshops in Asia for teaching and research in Civil Engineering. It has eight laboratories: CADD, Environment, Geotechnics, Hydraulics, Construction Technology, Spatial Information, Transportation and Protective Engineering. Their mission is to provide high-quality undergraduate and graduate education, conduct leadingedge basic and applied research, and support and enhance the profession of Civil and Environmental Engineering through its education, research and service activities in Singapore and the region.

Graduate housing on campus is provided primarily to new students to help them settle in and adjust to university life. Students may choose from the different types of accommodation available at Graduate Hall, Nanyang Heights and Nanyang Valley. All rooms are furnished with single bed, wardrobe, study desk, fan and internet connection. Undergraduate students are accommodated at 16 Halls of Residence that are home for nearly 9200 students. The halls of residence offer similarly styled accommodation. All the halls offer single and double occupancy rooms and are co-ed by floor or wing. Double occupancy rooms are shared by residents of the same gender. All the rooms are fully furnished and have communal facilities like television rooms, air-conditioned reading rooms, kitchenettes and laundry rooms with washing machines except hall 1 and 2 which share suite-style attachments.
