This programme is designed to provide insights into the unique elements and issues of the healthcare industry. It aims to provide the critical knowledge and skills for persons preparing to move into administrative or leadership positions in the healthcare sector. Main objective is to equip students with an understanding of the importance of strategic thinking, planning, resource allocation and efficiency maximisation in healthcare organisations; to provide an overview of how funds move through the healthcare system, and how supply and demand factors influence resource allocation and utilisation in healthcare organizations; to discuss how social, environmental, economic and cultural factors have altered the focus of healthcare towards preventative services; to understand organizational behaviour and human resource management practice systems in the context of healthcare organizations; to provide an overview of ethical and moral values and judgements as applied to the practice of medicine; to enable students to understand the nature of healthcare products and consumers and how these influence healthcare marketing strategies.

Modul program

The curriculum include Healthcare Marketing, Research Methodology for Managers, Organizational Behaviour, Healthcare Finance and Economics, Strategic Management, Global Healthcare, Ethical and Legal Consideration in Healthcare, Disease Prevention, Treatment and Management, MSc Dissertation.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants must have completed a recognised bachelor's degree or equivalent; and demonstrated proficiency in English (EL1) equivalent to at least C6 pass at GCE 'O' Levels. Applicants who do not meet the English Language requirement are required to achieve a minimum of band 6.5 and above in IELTS (International English Language Testing System) conducted by The British Council; or to score 240 points (computer-based) or 570 (paper-based) in TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) conducted by the United States Education and Information Centre. Also applicants with other equivalent qualification may be considered on a case by case basis.
