This programme is designed to train individuals in all aspects of producing, finance and marketing as well as the art and craft of media production. MFA in Producing students will be required to complete a minimum of 68 credits that deepen their understanding of the interdisciplinary, global and creative dimensions of producing. This unparalleled program distinguishes itself by training producers as thinking artists whose unique education prepares them for global challenges, and is designed to provide graduate students with a framework for understanding the dynamics of producing as an art form and a business profession.

The required courses are: Producing Essentials; Media, Economics and Participation; Record Producer as Creative Artist; Producing for the Stage; Financial Accounting and Reporting; Topics in Production: Professional Colloquium; Foundations of Marketing; Organizational Dynamics; Copyright Law in the Digital Era; Producing Practicum; H65.2015.901 - Story Analysis; H65.2008.901 / 2008.902 - Film Production. Theater track courses are: BFA/MFA Thesis Project: TV; Actor’s Craft; Fundamentals of Design; Stagecraft: Sound, Costumes, Lighting, Scene and Model-making; World Theater Festivals and Marketplace; Theater Finance and Organizational Structure. Elective courses are: Producing the Short Narrative Film; Editing I; Directing Projects: Music Video Production; Directing Projects: Commercial Production; Graduate Seminar in Screenwriting; Game Studies; From Phones to Theme Parks; Media Internship; Corporations; Comparative Law of Contracts Seminar; Accounting and Control; Macroeconomics in the Global Economy; Entertainment Business Law.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants must have an accredited baccalaureate degree. They must also demonstrate their English Language Proficiency with scores in TOEFL or IELTS.
