This programme is designed as a career entry general masters course, primarily for students with little or no business, management or leadership experience. The focus emerges from a commitment to make a distinctive contribution in the field of hospitality and management education and to wider society, by offering an accessible, contemporary and practical student-centred programme. The programme seeks to develop graduates: who can identify the need for, and then lead change; who understand the importance and strategic value of sustainable, long term solutions; who are creative, entrepreneurial and flexible practitioners, with a truly international perspective; and who are sensitive to wider societal impacts and responsibilities. One of the primary goals of the programme is to place the student at the centre of the learning process and empower them to take increasing ownership of the learning experience. This approach encourages the practices of critical and reflective thinking throughout the programme and is exemplified in the community impact and practice module. The programme objectives are: to demonstrate, through practice, knowledge of how strategies for research and enquiry are used to create and interpret knowledge in hospitality management and leadership; systematically and critically evaluate the practices, research and scholarship in hospitality management and leadership; critically evaluate, interrelate and apply knowledge and processes relevant to hospitality management and leadership; exercise responsibility, initiative and self-direction to support and further develop independent study and professional development; contribute to the development of management and leadership within hospitality; identify, critically analyse and respond creatively to complex problems that are specific to the hospitality industry; demonstrate originality in the application of knowledge, understanding and practices in dealing with complex issues in hospitality operations. Upon successful completion, students are eligible to progress to any doctorate degree programme conducted in East Asia Institute of Management.

The modules include Community Impact and Practice, Contemporary Issues in International Management, International Leadership, Power and Policy, Strategic Thinking, Research Methods, Inspirational Leadership in Hospitality, Developments and Issues In International Hospitality, Managing Facilities and Development of Resort Hotels, International Marketing.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants should have completed a bachelor degree or a recognized equivalent qualification but can demonstrate a period of substantive work experience; or candidates who have no formal degree level qualification but can demonstrate substantive professional experience. They should demonstrate their proficiency in English language with minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent.

East Asia Institute of Management’s rise to current prominence as one of Singapore‘s Top Private Education organization, began 25 years ago in 1984 was founded in 2001. As a training and consultancy outfit back then, dedicated to the provision of trained IT software professionals for the Republic's burgeoning IT industry, the success of this pioneering endeavor quickly led to the company's expansion into Information Technology and Management (ITM) Associates in 1989, in tandem with, and response to, the upgrading of the national economy into a high-tech and high value-adding economy. The Balestier campus is among the largest single location private education facility in Singapore, with a land area of 18,000 sq metres and built-up area of more than 37,000 sq metres. It is also fully equipped to meet the learning and recreational needs of up to 6,000 enrolled students. New state-of-the-art facilities will include 60 classrooms and mini-lecture theatres; one students’ learning centre; library; one computer and language laboratory; videoconference room; admin office floor; postgraduate resource centre; hospitality training centre; multi-purpose hall; two badminton courts; three basketball courts; one cricket pitch; two tennis courts; a running track; a fitness gym; and a pool and games room. Besides the new Balestier campus, EASB has plans for another campus in Henderson with a capacity for 2,500 enrolled students. It will be used to house the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC) Asia Campus in Singapore. With a widely expanded portfolio of programmes, solid infrastructure of regional offices, an up-to-date fully equipped campus, a newly established hostel facility and the accumulated managerial expertise of private sector education, EASB is poised for a new phase of rapid growth.
