In this course students will learn to manufacture aerospace components, operate and monitor precision machine operations, as well as perform quality checks. They acquire knowledge and skills which are highly relevant to the industry: create 5-axis CNC part-programs using CAD/CAM system; set up 5-axis CNC machining centres; operate and monitor precision machining operations; manufacture aerospace components such as landing gears, engine casings and aero structures; perform quality checks; provide preventive maintenance. Graduates are employed as manufacturing specialist by high value manufacturing industries in particular the aerospace, oil and gas, precision modules and components, medical technology, transport engineering and, machinery and systems sectors. There are excellent opportunities for career advancement to supervisory positions and beyond. The challenge is for students to upgrade their technical skills and knowledge by taking up higher-level courses.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students should have completed GCE 'O' level grades in any two subjects, with Grade 1 - 8; or GCE 'N' level passes in mathematics or science and two other subjects, with Grade A - D or 1 - 5.
