In this course students learn how to maintain the safety, health and environment standards in biologics manufacturing plants maintain product quality and monitor control systems. Nitec in Chemical Process Technology (Biologics) graduates are employed by companies in the biopharmaceutical industries. Some of the job titles held by Nitec in Chemical Process Technology (Biologics) graduates includes process technician, operation technician and plant maintenance technician.

The modules are Health, Safety, Security and Environment Management 6, Process Instrumentation and Control I 8; Process Equipment 10; Plant Processes 5, Bioprocess Plant Fundamentals 7; Biologics Process 8; Bioprocess Operations 13; Life Skills for Personal Development 8; Life Skills at the Workplace 4; Sports and Wellness I 1; Sports and Wellness II 1; Product Testing and Quality Assurance 3; Distributed Control System 2; Simulated Control Panel Operation 3; Technical Mathematics 3; Basic Pneumatics 3; Mechanical Maintenance 3; Fundamentals of Industrial Automation 2; Communicative English (Levels 1 to 8) 3, English Language 'O' I to IV 2 or 3, Mathematics 'O' I to IV 2 or 3, Overseas Experiential Programme 2 or 3.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have completed GCE 'O' level with a grade of 1-8 in mathematics and science (except biology and human and social biology) and GCE 'N' level passes with a grade of 1-5 or A-D in mathematics, science (except human and social biology)and one other subject. They must be free from colour-appreciation deficiency.
