This course not only teaches about using test instruments, but also about troubleshooting and rectifying test instruments. They acquire knowledge and skills gained which are highly relevant to the industry. It teaches to check the condition and characteristics of basic electronic components, construct electronic projects to given specifications, test, service and repair common electronic equipment and the control system of machinery, maintain, test, calibrate and repair electronic test and measuring equipment, set up microcomputer to interface with programmable instruments and peripheral devices and calibrate, test, install, diagnose and maintain process and control equipment.

The modules include: Electrical and Electronic Principles, Digital Electronics, Analogue Electronics, Industrial Electronics, Device Manufacturing Fundamentals, Semiconductor Processes, Semiconductor Measurement and Analysis, Industry Attachment, Life Skills for Personal Development, Life Skills at the Workplace, Sports and Wellness I, Sports and Wellness II, Technical Mathematics, Web Development, JavaScript Programming, C Programming, Fundamental Applied Statistics, Sensor Technology, Project Management, Calculus (Integration), Internet Security, Wireless LAN, Multimedia Web-based Content Creation, Business Etiquette and Grooming, Small Business Management, Communicative English (Level 1 to 8), English Language 'O' I to IV, Mathematics (Level 1 and 10), Mathematics 'O' I to IV, Overseas Experiential Programme.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have a GCE ‘O’ level grades in any two subjects with grades 1-8 or GCE ‘N’ level passes in English Language and two other subjects with grades A - D or 1 - 5.
