This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills to work in aerospace companies. Apply now and learn how to maintain and repair aircrafts in this expanding industry. They acquire knowledge and skills which are highly relevant to the industry: assemble and set up machine modules, carry out modification on machine components for assembly, carry out functional and acceptance tests, develop mechanical designs using CAD/CAM system, generate prototype models, conduct routine machine calibration and perform quality checks. Graduates are employed as manufacturing specialist by high value manufacturing industries in particular the machinery and systems, semiconductor, medical technology and precision modules and components sectors. There are excellent opportunities for career advancement to supervisory positions and beyond. The challenge is for students to upgrade their technical skills and knowledge by taking higher-level courses.
