Ringkasan program
This programme mission is to produce PhD graduates with expertise at the intersection of IT and business for R and D units and applied academic institutions. It develops researchers or educators who address deep technology challenges in real information systems that impact business processes or management, or who develop tools and methodologies to translate business goals to technology solutions. The graduates will be capable of collaborating with faculty members from different research areas, designing technology solutions for real-world problems and applications, while still producing top-rate academic publications. The curriculum covers five areas that have high market demands - data management and analytics, information security and trust, information systems and management, intelligent systems and interaction and software systems.

The courses include IS701: Information Storage and Retrieval, IS751: Advanced Topics in Database and Information Retrieval, IS702: Information Security, IS752: Advanced Topics in Information Security, IS705: Information Systems and Management, IS703: Decision Support and Optimization, IS753: Advanced Topics in Intelligent Decision Support, IS706: Engineering Software Systems and IS707: Human-Computer Interaction.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have a bachelor degree with good honors, or a master degree, in a relevant discipline. They should be keen to pursue research at the intersection of IT and business. Students whose medium of instruction for their Bachelor degree is not in English will be required to submit TOEFL (international test) scores, GRE/GMAT scores and two academic references are also required.
