Ringkasan program
Accounting information recording techniques and decision-making tools are introduced in the 1st level accounting course; by the end of the 1st year students are able to appreciate the accounting needs of small and medium sized businesses; students are also introduced to financial valuation, investment appraisal and financial markets in the first level finance course; the property degree programme examines property markets from the perspectives of economics, investment and business; all property programmes prepare students for a career in surveying, with a focus on commercial property, investment, management, valuation and development.
Modul program
Level 1: Accountancy: introduces accounting information recording techniques and decision-making tools, through case studies based on real-world situations; Property: explores the links between property and economy, property development, property cycles, the characteristics of property compared to other assets, and the principles of property valuation; students also take 2 1st-year economics courses; students may focus on business-related issues or choose courses relating to planning and environmental issues. Level 2: Accountancy: core courses: financial accounting; management accounting; business finance; students also take a business law course; range of options; Property: core courses: land and property economics; business statistics; valuation of investment property and valuation; principles into practice. Levels 3-4: Accountancy: core courses: auditing; management accounting; financial accounting; range of options; Property: core courses: contemporary appraisal; international property market analysis; options include: property investment; corporate real estate; housing economics; property finance; urban and regional economics.
