This is a conversion course for students with little or no background in accounting or finance.
Modul program
At least 1 from: principles of finance; corporate finance; investments and financial markets; quantitative finance; at least 1 from: financial accounting; financial reporting and management (1/2 unit) and financial reporting (1/2 unit); managerial accounting; 2 full units from a range of departments; typical options include: Applied corporate finance (1/2 unit); auditing, governance and risk management; financial risk analysis (1/2unit); valuation and security analysis; introduction to econometrics; industrial economics; microeconomic principles; macroeconomic principles; organisational theory and behaviour; commercial law; corporate and financial crime; quantitative methods (mathematics) (1/2 unit); quantitative methods (statistics) (1/2 unit); mathematics of finance and valuation (1/2 unit); game theory (1/2 unit), the process of management; the international context of management (1/2 unit); strategy (1/2 unit); design and management of organisations (1/2 unit); operational research for management.
