This pathway helps colleagues identify research career paths suited to them and to prepare an action plan for this; it helps them collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary research teams, gain insights into the way the �research game� is played in research communities, and helps participants strengthen their writing of research proposals and grant applications; it also offers a route to qualifying as a doctoral supervisor

Core modules include: building a successful research career; options chosen from: supervising postgraduate research; academic writing; developing a curriculum accessible by disabled students; course (re)design; management and leadership in higher education; independent enquiry; building a successful research career; research ethics; research management and leadership; research bidding and design.
