The course provides student with an opportunity to advance and expand their knowledge in the field of animal behaviour and to gain expertise in the research and statistical methods generally used in psychology; students learn how to: Formulate and test relevant research questions; critically evaluate the research carried out by others in the field

Compulsory modules: Advanced statistics; research placement; social science research skills; behavioural ecology; animal cognition; plus 4 option modules from list including: ethological methods; zoo research; animal welfare; operant psychology.
