This course provides a progression route for students who are not working in primary schools, or who have not completed the Foundation degree at Bishop Grosseteste University College Lincoln, or who do not wish to gain a qualified teacher status qualification; the student will study elements of the course alongside other educational courses, but with options pertinent to their setting; the programme includes significant elements of work-based learning; to this effect, the student is able to retain employment for the duration of the course; all students are employed or volunteer as teaching assistants (or equivalent).
