This course will appeal to participants if they like the idea of combining business and computing, but wish to pursue a more technology-based computing course. As a graduate they will have the knowledge of business processes, which is where the greatest use of computing is found, and combine it with depth in computing, to be creators of business software and systems. It covers in year one: IT professional, computers and networks, database systems 1, computer programming 1, systems analysis & design 1 and web development; and in year two: business planning, online business applications, database systems 2 , work based project, systems analysis and design 2 and computer programming 2. The practical skills developed on this course leave students well placed to seek employment in a wide variety of computing positions upon graduation. A suggested progression route may be possible to the BSc Computing Framework programmes at Bournemouth University.

IELTS Statement - If English is not your first language, a minimum of IELTS (Academic) 6.0, or TOEFL 550 (paper based), or TOEFL 80 (internet based) is normally required. A telephone interview may also be necessary.
