Ringkasan program
This course provides a critical and creative resource for those who work, or aspire to work,within the community dance sector; students are able to apply their existing experience, disseminate new ideas about community dance and collaborate with local dance organizations; the course is intended for students who would like to develop their ideas about community dance by engaging with conceptual, political and artistic challenges within the practice.
Modul program
Dance, education and community; dance, current issues and community; dance as a socio-cultural practice; dance analysis; dance practice as research. Optional: Reflective practice; dance composition; music and dance; creating event spaces; ethnographic fieldwork; dance and the politics of identity; the performance of heritage: dance in museums, galleries and historic sites.
