This course is specifically designed to give applicants the competence to undertake empirical work in discourse studies which draws on both linguistic and social theory.
Modul program
Three modules are compulsory: Critical Discourse Analysis; Introduction to Discourse Studies; Pragmatics; students can select three modules out of a range of options including Corpus Linguistics; Gender and Language; Sociolinguistics; Stylistics.
