Ringkasan program
The course focuses on the emotional development of children from birth to 8 years of age; students gain an appreciation of how children think and learn and identify the role of the adult in facilitating this learning through a range of strategies; theoretical aspects of learning are studied and students gain an understanding of children's physical, intellectual, emotional, social and language development; this student-centred course allows the student to create art using a variety of approaches, irrespective of their art and design background; specialist staff ensure the students receive a holistic approach to learning, integrating practical, theoretical and professional modules whilst encouraging a dynamic and independent approach.
Modul program
Year 1: Tools for learning; introduction to studio practice; visual practices and critical frameworks; philosophies, policy and provision; drawing as enquiry. Year 2: Supporting the early years curriculum; materials and processes; healthy childhood. Year 3: Behaviour and communication; advanced studio practice 1; international perspectives; advanced studio practice 2.
