Ringkasan program
This course focuses on the educational, social and emotional development of children from birth to 8 years of age; students gain an appreciation of how children think and learn and identify the role of the adult in facilitating this learning through a range of strategies; theoretical aspects of learning are studied and students gain an understanding of children's physical, intellectual, emotional, social and language development; this course develops the student's mathematical and practical skills and their understanding of teaching, learning and education, and allows the students to share their enthusiasm to help inspire others.
Modul program
Year 1: Tools for learning; new horizons; philosophies, policy and provision; enhancing algebra with ICT. Year 2: Supporting the early years curriculum; calculus with geometric applications; interdisciplinary module; healthy childhood; professional context; modelling and methods. Year 3: Behaviour and communication; modelling with differential equations; international perspectives; mathematical pedagogy and educational practice; contemporary issues; independent study.
