The course combines development of versatile decision making skills with appreciation of relationships between people and world resources.
Modul program
Year 1: Career development skills in economics; economic environment; industrialisation and economic development; economics; economic issues and policies; quantitative economics. Year 2:Core modules: economic decision making with econometrics; economics of public issues; microeconomics: choice analysis; macroeconomics, theories, issues and policies; political economy; options: industrial economics; economics of international banking; economic evaluation; global financial markets. Year 3: Placement year for those on 4 year course. Year 4: 3 modules from: labour economics; economics of money and risk; international trade; economics of sport; international development economics; internet, computers and society; Jean Monnet: Europe and the world economy; decision techinques; econometrics; risk management with derivatives.
