The postgraduate diploma course consists of 4 taught modules to a total value of 120 CATS points; the MSc course consists of 4 taught modules to a total value of 120 CATS points, followed by a major project and dissertation worth 60 CATS points; the course is designed to help students develop the combination of skills and understanding necessary to apply computing technology to the development of multimedia systems; the 4 taught modules are: Multimedia authoring; multimedia programming; teaching and learning with information technology; using the world wide web for instructional technology.
