The first 2 years of this course provide a grounding in mathematics and computing, analogue electronic circuits and components, communications, electromagnetics, power electronics and control to underpin more advanced study in subsequent years; there is greater specialisation in the final 2 years of the course, when students can choose to focus on subjects such as energy management, analogue design, and digital electronics.
