The course is designed for graduates who want to help tackle the problems of major challenges in meeting the current and future demand for sustainable and secure energy supplies by developing practical engineering solutions, and who want to learn more about the fundamental science and the technologies involved in energy utilisation, electricity generation, energy efficiency, and alternative energy.
Modul program
Core modules: communication and organisational skills; mathematical and computational skills; review of basic energy concepts; research topics; electives: turbulence; 2 phase flows; sustainable energy; nuclear power engineering; clean coal technologies; the course is mainly delivered by the Department of Engineering with input from the Department of Chemical Engineering.
