This degree programme combines technical engineering training with management and is designed for those who will become future managers in a wide range of careers; students benefit from a series of visits to manufacturing and service industry companies and industry case studies; these act as an integrating medium, challenging students to apply their academic knowledge in solving practical problems; in addition, the final-year group project takes the form of an industrial systems analysis and is usually run in close collaboration with a company.
