Modul program
Year 1: Mechanical engineering (design; mechanics; materials and manufacture; structures; thermodynamics; fluid mechanics); engineering mathematics (numbers and functions; calculus and differential equations; complex numbers, vectors and series; statistics and probability); either electronic engineering; environmental science; computer science; or physics. Years 2 and 3: Digital electronics; control; design; dynamics; electric power and machines; finite element techniques; machine elements; management and organisation; materials; microprocessors; structures; thermodynamics; project. Year 4: Design; team design project; project management; plus options from: sensors and actuators; intelligent systems and control; microsystems; embedded systems; manufacturing systems. Optional sandwich year in industry at end of 2nd year.
