Ringkasan program
The programme encourages students to rethink the study of poetry, narrative, drama, film and literary theory; students take at least 2 studio-based drama modules each year and explore key aspects of theatre and live performance from the practical perspectives of actor, director, technician, designer and so on; students continue to explore English literature throughout the 2nd and 3rd years, from the Restoration through the rise of the novel to contemporary writing; students have the opportunity to study abroad in the USA and Europe.
Modul program
Modules include: Introduction to advanced literature study; practical drama: making texts; theatre practice: interpreting texts; theatre practice: performance; plus options from: theatre, film studies and literary practice; optional modules from: Henry James, Irish literature, the gay novel, 20th century poetry or Shakespeare on screen.
