Ringkasan program
The course allows students to enhance their understanding of the structure, components and use of the English language, and to develop the skills needed to analyse language in a variety of contexts, according to a range of theoretical approaches; the programme equips students to enter professions in which English Language plays a central role, such as teaching, translation and interpretation, publishing, trade and diplomacy.
Modul program
Part 1: advanced English language and culture; vocabulary learning and teaching; discourse analysis; research methods or language teaching; optional modules include: communicative language teaching; 2nd language acquisition theory; world English; advanced translation English to Chinese; history of translation or translation theory; part 2: dissertation or professional reflective practice portfolio.
