Ringkasan program
The degree course which gives students the opportunity to study 2 legal systems for 2 years at King's and three years at Hong Kong university; as well as obtaining a qualifying English law degree, students also obtain a qualifying Hong Kong law degree, meaning once learners have successfully completed the programme students can gain access to the postgraduate certificate in Laws (PCLL) and obtain a legal qualification in Hong Kong; international legal practice increasingly requires lawyers who are appropriately qualified in more than one jurisdiction, and individuals trained through this joint programme are expected to be highly valued by international law firms and multinational companies; the programme aims to give students a better understanding of the law by offering the chance to compare both systems, leaving learners in a better position to advise clients in legal practice and have the opportunity to widen intellectual horizon.

Year 1 examples: Elements of the law of contract; criminal law; public law; European law. Year 2 examples: Family law; law of personal taxation; conflict of laws; commercial law; human rights law; advanced constitutional law; medical law; company law. Year 3: Year abroad. Year 4: Year abroad. Year 5: Year abroad.
