If the student is interested in American literature, or film studies, or Renaissance drama, or children's literature and loves the Victorian novel, or contemporary poetry then this is a suitable course; this course develops the student's mathematical and practical skills and their understanding of teaching, learning and education, and allows the students to share their enthusiasm to help inspire others.
Modul program
Year 1: Critical skills; new horizons; dramatic and poetic form; enhancing algebra with ICT. Year 2: History of fiction: the 18th and 19th century novel; calculus with geometric applications; children's literature; modelling and methods. Year 3: Shakespeare and early modern literature; modelling with differential equations; post-war and contemporary literature; independent study; mathematical pedagogy and educational practice; dissertation.
