Year 1: Design; communications techniques; geology for civil engineers; hydraulics; mathematics; surveying; structural mechanics; engineering materials; numerical methods; French or German language.
Year 2: Hydraulics; soil mechanics; environmental chemistry; pollution control; materials; transport and the built environment; construction management; statistics; group design project.
Year 3: Individual project; design project; geotechnical engineering; hydrology and water resources; project management; plus 2 choices from optional subjects including numerical methods, transportation engineering, hydraulic engineering, water and wastewater treatment, law for engineers or a foreign language.
Year 4: Group design project; multi-disciplinary project; construction management; plus 4 choices from optional subjects including highway engineering, maritime and coastal engineering, water resource management, environmental risk assessment, maritime pollution, transportation planning and engineering, contaminated land remediation, renewable energy, advanced foundation engineering.
