This course is designed to prepare entrants for success in higher education and for a career in fashion and clothing design, offering hands-on live project experience. It will promote analysis and interpretation, the use of specialist vocabulary and methodology, and the ability to generate, develop and realise creative design ideas. Participants will study the following areas: preparation for learning at HE level, drawing techniques and approaches, historical and contextual referencing, computer applications, design principles, etc.
