Ringkasan program
This course is designed to provide students with a thorough grounding in the theoretical and practical sides of finance; it contains compulsory elements in asset pricing; corporate finance; economics and quantitative methods and offers optional units in areas including: derivatives; financial econometrics; investment management; and international finance; the programme aims to provide preparation for careers in: investment management; financial research; trading; consulting and corporate finance.
Modul program
Term 1 compulsory units: asset pricing; corporate finance and financial statements; quantitative methods for finance and investment; students must also select 1 of the following: applied economics; economics for finance and management; international financial accounting (students must take this unit if theywish to take financial statement analysis and valuation as an option in the 2nd term); microeconomics Term 2: Students are required to choose 4 from the following list of options: advanced corporate finance; banking; cases in financial; management; derivatives; financial statement analysis & valuation (international financial accounting is a compulsory pre-requisite for this unit); international finance; investment management; quantitative finance; option availability subject to staffing and timetable constraints. Term 3 and vacation: a research-based dissertation of 15,000 words.
